Socks and sandals... what's your opinion?

I have a love affair with my adidas slides, and I often wear them with no-show socks… incidentally also adidas… and they’re cut so low that they fall a full half inch below my ankle.

One of my best friends makes fun of me, playfully, about wearing socks with sandals. But I insist that with this type of slide, especially adidas for some odd reason, it’s acceptable to wear socks. My boss pokes fun at me sometimes too but then says her daughter wears them the same way and she teases her daughter the same way.
