Have you ever been cut while getting a manicure or pedicure?

I was getting a pedicure today and the woman cut too deep between the skin and nail on the side of my big toe. It bled and she cleaned it with alcohol, but then put my foot right back into the spa and continued the pedicure. My doctor said once, that I shouldn’t go to nail salons because they are “not clean”. I am sure lots of people have been cut at a nail salon and been fine. Have you ever heard of someone getting staph or cellulitis from a cut at a nail salon?
