How can I get out of this ebay situation?

I really want the Motorola i1 phone with Boost Mobile, but the price is too high for my blood. In stores with no contract (with it being Boost and all) it’s almost $400 while the price is half that with a Sprint contract purchase.

I went on ebay and found the phone for $255. I bid on it and am currently the highest bidder, but I’m having second thoughts. I’m guessing that I’ll be outbid by the time it ends (tomorrow at noon) but if I’m not, can I get out of it? I hate to be a horrible ebayer, but if I don’t pay will they just give it to the next highest bidder?

I want the it a lot, but $250 for a phone? It just might not be worth it right now.
