How long does it take to straighten your hair?

I have a party to go to and i dont want to be ready early or late. If I finish getting ready early then I will just be waiting around and probably mess up my hair or makeup or something. I want to straighten my hair but i have never done it before so I don’t know how long it will take. I also don’t know what products are good to put in your hair to make it hold and not frizz but also not make it greasy or pouffy or sticky.

How long does it take to straighten your hair and what products do you reccomend
