How can I clean a certain gross kind of blood off my mattress?

My girlfriend bled on my Ikea memory foam mattress. It soaked through the sheets and is very visible on the mattress itself. I’m not really sure what to do short of cleaning the surface and turning it over. I don’t have a whole lot of time or money to spare. What do I do?
