Can you think of a song that sounded happy to you at first, but later realized how sad it actually was?

Could you share with us what line from the song it was in particular that struck you as sad? I was listening to On Melancholy Hill by Gorillaz yesterday, and I started to realize for the first time that the lyrics were a little bit of a downer.

For me, the pathetic sadness of the line “You can’t get what you want, but you can get me.” really struck me. When I listened again and paid more attention to the song than the video, it dawned on me that this was a rather depressing song…
