How easy and what is the quality of the DIY foam insulation kits on the market?

I am considering spraying the underside of my lake cabin with a DIY foam insulation kit which includes tanks, nozzle, etc. How effective are these, how difficult, and how does the cost compare to just paying an insulation company to do it. Also, as this is the underside of the floor how well does it adhere.
