When you watch a movie/TV show at home, do you prefer to view alone or in the company of others?

I mean, this could depend on a number of factors, let alone personal preference. I like to watch pixar/family movies with the kids. Settling down with the wife to snuggle up & watch a film is also lots of fun. However, given the choice, I much prefer watching a movie on my own. Usually in complete darkness, beer at hand, to watch in peace & quiet. How about you?
