Does anyone know the name of this film?

I think it’s a remake of either a TV show or another film. It was released in 2007 (I think, it could have been 2006/8). It’s about a man who goes to stay at his friend’s house. I think he falls in love with his friend’s sister; I also think his friend is gay and is in love with him. If I remember rightly, the name of the film is the name of the hall where he stayed at. Does anyone know what it’s called? Thanks:)
