Do you ever feel like you're at a crossroads?

Like your life is going through some drastic changes? Do the other people in your life (family, friends) even realize this about you if you haven’t talked about it?

I still have a lot of the same goals I have had for a while (finishing school, etc.), but things changed when I met someone last year. As strongly as I feel about this person, I don’t the feeling is mutual, and I am gradually accepting this, although I will always have strong feelings for this person…

The thing is, falling for this person has made me realize how much I want someone in my life…even if it can’t be them. Always before I didn’t feel like I needed that someone special to make me feel complete. Now, I am yearning for someone to share that closeness and intimacy with.

I feel like everything else, while still important to me, is now on the back burner compared to finding someone with which to share my life. Did this person change my heart so completely? Did they awaken something in me that wasn’t there before?
