If your question (asked late at night) was then pushed to editing for something like four hours (because one does have to sleep), is it okay to repost it so that it is not now buried in older questions?

Normally I get lots of feedback on my questions, but I feel like it was buried by being pulled for editing overnight, and then when I pushed it to social, it was further (Fluther?) buried because it was placed under a number of other questions that had already been addressed? What is one supposed to do when that happens?
