Did I suddenly develop allergies or is this a common cold?

About a week ago I started sneezing a lot. It developed into what I thought was a cold. I’m very stuffy. My sinuses are under a ton of pressure. My eyes are watery. I’m still sneezing. I don’t have a sore throat or cough. Could this be an allergy from outdoors? Ever since the weather got nicer and I’ve been spending a lot more time outdoors, my sinuses have been swollen and stuffy. How can you tell the difference between allergies and the common cold?
