How should I celebrate my 17th birthday? - its today?

My birthday is today. Now its 13:40 and I haven’t done anything. I just got out of bed. I am a very laid back and shy person. I do not really enjoy throwing huge parties… actually I have never even done so. I just prefer having my closest friends with me. I have no idea what to do. Maybe we could do it over the weekend or tomorrow or something because I have difficulties what to do. I kind of feel like just staying at home alone and watching television but I also kind of what to do something.
Please help me.
