What is a good store for petite plus sizes?

Since I had my baby, I’ve had trouble taking the weight off. I now would rather wear clothes that fit than have nothing to wear and lots of clothing in holding.

I’ve always been short waisted with short legs, so I need petite. I’ve always been a bit frustrated with buying off the rack in petites. The variety isn’t as good as the regular sizes, but I have no talent for sewing at all. Plus sizes lack the same variety and many stores don’t even have a petite plus size section. When they do have a petite plus, there is practically nothing worth getting in it.

I’ve resorted to buying plus size capri pants and wearing them as regular pants. (My legs are VERY short!) I also sometimes buy skirts and hike them up Urkel style (almost under my armpits) so the hemline is OK. This is getting silly and I’d like to buy clothes that FIT for a change.

What I’d like is any suggestions about where to shop OR any advice about shopping online and getting a fit. I’ve never been brave enough to try buying clothes online.
