Every day, it seems, the news speaks of areas in the world where an entire region was evacuated for one reason or another.
Just today in St. Louis Mo, 4,000 people in North County were evacuated from their homes because of flooding. Where do they all go? They couldn’t possibly have the time to load up all important possessions, nor have the luxury of storing them in temporary shelter.
I’ve never experienced the hassles of evacuation. Have you? What’s it like?
