Your Twilight Zone moment; you are alone on the planet, how long before everything goes bad?

You wake to a Twilight Zone moment. You are alone and everyone else is gone. It is just you and the animals. How long do you believe it would take before things got really bad? At some point the water will not flow from the tap, the power will go out so any food in the supermarket and in fridges all over will start to spoil. No electric, gas pumps don’t work so even if you have your pick of any vehicle you can’t use the gas station. Any animal that didn’t starve will be desperate, and those that escape from zoos, circuses, etc will be more dangerous than dogs packing up and reversing back to the wild. How long before everything that works stop, leaving you to be totally self-sufficient?
