Two that immediately come to mind:
1. Do unto others as you would have done unto you.
Incredibly flawed. Everyone has differences in how they want to be treated. Reminds me of another quote. When you assume, you make an ass of you and me.
2. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Why else would I freaking want to have cake!?
