Are there any crimes you would help your kid(s) cover up or get away with?

Around my neck of the woods they have a saying ”the blood is thicker than the mud” which basically say you go all out for family over others, even if the family member is wrong. In conversations on the topic often it is mentioned how David Kaczynski turned in his brother Ted as being the Unabomber. That even if Ted suspected his brother, he should have put family first and kept silent. If your kid rushed in panting for breath and covered in blood saying he/she was out with friends, for instance, and someone started to harass or bother one of his/her friends and they rat packed him and while he was being held and pummeled, someone produced a knife and stabbed the beaten guy in the neck. Would you go so far as to help hide or dispose of the bloody clothes, get them cleaned up and/or provide them an alibi for the night? Would you help a family member avoid arrest, or would it be determined by the severity of the crime; say vandalism vs. car theft, etc? Where does the blood stop with you?
