Are you being conned by "fake cheese"?

I love pimento cheese sandwiches. I love real cheese to be in my purchased pimento cheese. Most store-bought pimeto cheese has real cheese in it. Others do not. Do you read ingredient labels? Next time you buy pimeto cheese, read the ingredients on the side of the box. If the first ingredient is not pasteurized american cheese, chances are you are buying “fake cheese”. Fake cheese is normally made with some type oil and fake cheese will not melt. I learned this lesson, when I attempted to make a grilled cheese sandwich.Question: have you ever bought pimento cheese and thought it was made with real cheese, but later discovered it was not?
