For those of you who are in the midst of it, how have you been coping with the heat wave?

Our household was shamefully lazy today. I don’t think we did anything productive. For the most part we lounged around and tried to stay cool. For the last week or so we’ve spent a lot of time swimming and trying to stay out of the sun and keeping hydrated as much as possible.
Has your routine changed at all as a result of the weather? What about those of you who live with children or elderly relatives?
