In Facebook, how do I remove a photo that someone else has tagged me in, so unfortunately it shows up on my Facebook profile?

I understand I cannot take this photo off the other person’s photos. I just want to eliminate it from my Facebook profile.

I am tagged in a friend’s Facebook photo, so it’s on my Facebook profile.

I saw an “x” at the top right of the photo, but it says it will just make it invisible to me, my friends will still be able to see it, therefore, it’s not really what I want. I want to remove it from my FB altogether.
