How do you get Sally Hansen eyebrow wax off a plate?

I tried to do my eyebrows the other day and I must have left the pot in the microwave about 30 seconds too long. Ended up melting right through the plastic vessel and going all over the plate underneath. I managed to scrape most into the garbage before it solidified and got some more off with elbow-grease. There was some leftover though and I put it in the dishwasher and kind of forgot about it until my boyfriend ran the dishes tonight. It’s still running and I’m afraid to see what it’s going to look like when it comes out. :/ Will there be any way for me to get the rest off the plate once it’s gone through the dishwasher?
