What are some song lyrics that you misunderstood, or didn't understand at all, for years?

OK, this question was asked 3 years ago, but let’s give it another run…
Almost every single word in “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress” was gibberish to me, but I loved the song and sang it with gusto anyway!
But what prompted this question was listening to “Sweet Home Alabama”......“Singin’ songs about the suubway….” Well, that’s just what I hear! Two years ago (and that song came out, what, 30+ years ago?!) I found out the word is “southland,” not “subway.” But I still sing about the “suubway,” anyway. Change is hard. : )
