What is the best most valuable make up tip you can give me?

I’m addicted to make up and so would love some advice or tips that jellies have to offer. A few of my own:

Use primer potions for your eyes whenever you want your make up to last longer. I feel they are under rated.

A good make up brush can make or break your look. Be it a blending brush, contour brush, blush brush etc.

One that my mom often repeats to me: always take your make up off. I have been lazy sometimes but I paid the price when I woke up with a little pimple/white head kind of of thing on my waterline

Try to use a natural or near natural oil to take your make up off. They work just as well or even better than make up removers. Eye make up removers are harsh and may damage your skin over time.
