Why am I so obsessed with the 80's and the 90's?

Music and movies from that time are the best i’ve come across. I just feel that the era had a better feel and creativeness to it whenever i finish listening to a song or watching a movie. I’m not in any way criticizing the time we’re living in, just a matter of opinion. Also, I’m strictly talking in terms of music and movies. Do you feel the same way? What are your thoughts?
