Can you help me with Splinter removal ideas?

Ok so I had a previous post about a splinter I’ve had for 4 months, my doctor was useless, I paid her 80 for her to say ‘you’ll have to have an x-ray, but you can’t because your pregnant’
I asked her how else I could get it out and she said she doesn’t know.
She gave me a pediatrists number, she said if it’s not infected by 4 months it’s unlikely to become infected and I should just deal with it.
However, it’s driving me insane, I can’t see anything, there is no scar tissue, no lump, no minimal amount of pus or anything, I’m thinking it’s glass.
So what can I do?!
I can’t use salve – pregnant…. I’ve tried soaking.
Anyone have any ideas?
