My SIL called me and informed me I had 3 unclaimed property (funds). I was like WTH! Had no idea! Apparently all States are required to maintain a database of any unclaimed monies and apparently I had 3. One from a closed business account, another from a stock bankruptcy settlement with an old address and another from a Upromise account I opened a long time ago with my first home address.
The NAUPA is where you go to see if you have any cash you didn’t know you had.
