For One More Day
Awhile ago I read the book “for one more day” by Mitch Albom (author of “The Five People You Meet in Heaven”). I love books and have hundreds I haven’t read… yet I continue to browse used book stores and pick up more. Such was the case with this book. It’s an easy read, few hours max. The story is of a man and his mother, who had been dead for years. He spends the day with her reflecting back on different times throughout his life. It touched on a lot things for me and I can’t help but think of my own mother, who I lost over 30 years ago. I would love to have one more day with her.
