How much weight did you gain during your first 12 weeks of pregnancy?

I just had my 12 week visit to the OB and it turns out I gained 10 lb. in a month!!!!!!! Ouch!

I was having really bad nausea so I totally stopped exercising and I only ate carbs and salty foods. Now the nausea is gone so I am trying to get the weight gain under control. I exercised and ate healthy before I was pregnant, but the nausea really threw me off. Did anyone else experience this and then have it level out?
