Are home-printed store coupons in our future?

Asked by john65pennington (29258points) September 19th, 2011

Marlboro cigarettes emailed me a $3 off coupon for a carton of Marlboro cigarettes. I printed the coupon and took the whole page, just in case there were questions of acceptance at the store. I was right. This store would not accept my $3 off coupon for a carton of Marlboro. I advised the clerk that this is the future with coupons and they need to learn to accept them. My name was on the coupon, but they still refused to take it. Question: if you were in this situation, what would you have told the store clerk that refused to take your $3 dollar off coupon?
