Are the United States truly united?

Asked by dreamwolf (3163points) September 19th, 2011

States for the most part vote as a collective representative of its peoples. Personally, growing up I was raised to believe America was united. I think we’re only united during war time. Look how Philadelphia treated San Francisco Giants during the pennant chase. Calling them freaks, pot heads, and what not. Texans and the other southern states are known to be the fattest states. And New England pretty much known for high class society. So the reality is were just a bunch of cultures being forced to blend amongst eachother, and our common grounds are we unite for war, or abuse for war. Jot down what State you live in just so things become more interesting, or where you grew up.
