Can you "open a can of worms" about a family member or friend?

Some of what I have seen and heard in 44 years as a cop, could devastate a lot of people. This also applies to some of my friends, if I opened a “can of worms”. So, as usual, I will keep this gossip and information to myself. Question: what about you? Can you or would you “open a can of worms” on a family member or work associate, if the time was right? If you feel the need and the time is right, then “open a can of worms” now and see what happens.
