What, if anything, can I determine about an individual from knowing their preferred movie monster?

Are there inherent character differences between people who fear and are fascinated by zombies and those who would list vampires as their favorite threats? What of those who would list werewolf movies as a particular favorite, or Godzilla like giants?

If someone says that they love “Aliens”, can I make any assumptions as to their fears about artificial insemination?

Please help me if you can to speculate as to what these preferences might indicate about an individual’s subconscious.
