USB hub as travel charger?

Hi! Like many people, I have a lot of electronic gizmos on hand when I travel. Cameras, phones, mp3 players, etc. All of them are typically charged via a USB cable. Could I get a USB hub, plug them all in and simply plug the hub into the wall? Would that work? I hate spreading my devices around every available electrical outlet or lugging a power strip. Thoughts?
