How do you feel about the Twilight series?

Dunno how this’ll go as I don’t think we have many jellies who have given Twilight a second glance, but with one of the movies having recently come out I figured I’d try.
How do you feel about the Twilight books and/or movies? What messages, subtle or overt, do they put forth? And are they the right messages to be sending to young girls?
What does it say about teenage girls that so many of them are enthralled with this concept?
