What is your "horror" story for why you are afraid of Dr.s, Dentists, etc.?

I just recently posted up a question about a home remedy for tooth pain since I had a traumatizing experience with a Dentist and will not go to one ever again and it made me wonder what others stories are. In short here is mine.

I went to a dentist to have a broken molar removed. His way of doing this was to grab his pliers, place one foot on the chair and push and pull on the tooth. Well what happend was he snapped the roots off in my jaw. His way to fix this was to preform oral surgery (with out letting me or my father know who was in the waiting room. I was 17 and he would have needed to get my fathers permission to preform oral surgery from what I understand). He gave me little to no pain meds and started drilling away at my jaw bone because he couldn’t fit his tools in there and needed to make room. This went on for 7 hours. I lost so much blood that he had to place bit blocks in my mouth to hold it open because I was too weak to do it on my own. Also he was bald and was sweating like a pig. I had to keep dabbing his sweaty head with a towel so I wouldn’t get anymore of his sweat on my face and in my mouth. Now my jaw is messed up and is constantly locked. When I want to open it enough to fit a bit of food in it I have to force it open until it pops.

So that’s my “horror” story. Whats yours?
