How do you view babies?

When you see a baby, do you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, enlightened, giddy and calm, etc? When I see babies all I see is my own death, (sooner rather than later) They are just a constant time stamp reminder that the fizz is going out of my root beer, and sooner rather than later, I will be flat. Does that ever occur to you, or are babies just some tiny people that melt your heart?
