Independent children of divorced parents, what about the holidays? (see details)

Thinking about how glad I am that KatawaGrey always spends the holidays with me, I wondered what it must be like for the children of divorced parents. After you’ve grown up and are living away from home, but before you have your own family and traditions, how do you decide with whom you’ll spend the holidays? Especially if you get along with both parents? I imagine it must sometimes be a difficult choice to make.
