Just how far is my UPS man supposed to go to deliver his package?

I live on the 5th floor of a walk-up (no elevator) building. I usually get about a package or two a week from UPS. My UPS guy used to bring everything right to my door but now he’s just starting to leave things on the first floor for me to walk down to pick up. One time he was visibly angry that he had to lug up a large package on his own. Are they not supposed to come straight to your door or am I just being unreasonable? I’ve thought about complaining but I would hate the awkwardness of seeing him afterwords since it’s always the same guy.
