When does the pain of a UTI go away with antibiotics?

I’ve had UTIs in the past before and the pain went away quickly with treatment within hours. This UTI was so severe last night I seriously wanted to go to the ER but I couldn’t afford it. Anyways, I’m just wondering how long do you think it takes for pain to go away? It’s been several hours and the treatment just turned my pee orange and I still feel pain when going to the bathroom.

I know the causes and symptoms and to pee after sex. I’m just wondering when this will kick in. I have pills for only 3 days…I could’ve sworn it takes like a week/
