Does anyone know any forums for modern-day American Muslims?

I’m taking a cultural diversity class, for which I have to conduct two interviews with people from different cultures. I’ve decided to interview an ex-Amish and an American Muslim via email. I had no trouble finding ex-Amish willing to take the interview, but while searching for an American Muslim forum to post on requesting a volunteer to be interviewed, I have had trouble finding a forum that does not have a political agenda.

Do you know of any website or forum where many typical American Muslims gather? Are you an American Muslim, or do you know any American Muslims who would be willing to answer a series of about 20 questions regarding the differences between the American Muslim community and mainstream America?
