Mmmmm. Hmmmm. Ummmm. Ammmm. Can you come up with a set of words that have only one letter changed but a completely different meaning?

Mmmmm = Yummy, or “I agree” or “I like, a LOT!”
Hmmmm = “I’m considering it” or by adding a question mark, “Don’t you agree?”
Ummmm = “I’m not sure”
Ammmm = When I was growing up, this was the precursor to the phrase “I’m telling on you!” Ah, schooldays…
It certainly makes text messages with my dyslexic friend more interesting!
