Are your trashmen/women trustworthy?

In my neighborhood one morning, I came by my house to pick up something. I had noticed the trash truck on my street, but never paid much attention, since they are there every week. As I left my house, I observed a male trashman leave his truck and walk down my neighbors driveway to the rear of the house. This struck me as strange, since their cans were at the end of their driveway and I knew no one was home. I gave it a few minutes and just observed. Then, the trashman started walking back to his truck. I had to check this out. I stopped the trashman and we both walked behind my neighbors house. I noticed the back door had been kicked in. I placed him under arrest and searching his pockets, located property he had taken from my neighbors home.

Question: do we trust our trashmen and women too much?
