What is a great idea for a person's 100th birthday gift?

I am traveling to Italy this June to help celebrate a friend’s grandmother’s 100th birthday! Since this is the first 100th birthday I’ve been to/celebrated, I’m at a loss for a neat/special idea for a gift. Any fun, unique, or classic ideas?? Grazie!! :-)
