If you could have lived in another time period, when would it have been and why?

I am a baby boomer. I was born right after the war and a time when America was recovering from non- existence essentials, because of the war. This time period was magical. Everything was cheap. Made in the USA labels were stamped on everything. Made in China did not exist. And, then came the birth of rock and roll music. The mid-50s was like no other. Dj’s were taking bribes (payola) from music companies and artists, to play their new rock and roll recordings over the airways. Many people were arrested. Out of this constant airplay came many number one songs. Automobiles were cheap. A new Volkswagen could be bought for under $9,000 dollars, compared to under $20,000 dollars today. Gasoline was .28 cents a gallon. Looking back over my time period, I am thankful for the generation I was born. I would not change one thing.
