Do you believe that polygraph tests are reliable?

This is a very straightforward question. How reliable do you think polygraphs are? Are they reliable enough in your mind, where if it came down to somebody you cared a great deal about (like a loved one) failing a polygraph test for whatever reasons (like stealing, cheating, etc), that you would believe the polygraph test results?
