Has an addictive type of fondness for a particular food abruptly changed to something you simply didn't want any more?

Particular flavors of ice cream, for example. I’ll have a favorite for months, can’t get enough of it and suddenly don’t want it any more. It a bother when I’ve just stocked up with my favorite and really don’t want it particularly. The same thing happened with alcoholic drinks back when I was drinking. My SO and I would lose our taste for a particular cocktail at the same time, after drinking, say, a RobRoy, for a couple of years. We’d switch to say, a mai tai. That would last until, again, we tired of them and switched to something else for a long period of time.
