What are some good conditioners for chemically damaged hair?

Asked by Wine (641points) March 1st, 2013

I’m currently looking for a conditioner brand that isn’t too expensive but still works well. I was born with very thick and frizzy hair that is now chemically straightened with highlights.

I’ve found that Nexxus works the best on my hair but it’s about $30 for their largest bottle. At the same time I’m not interested in brands that aren’t salon quality (i.e. garnier, pantene, suave)

I’m content with a green tea conditioner that I just finished but am still on the lookout for something better. Any suggestions?
