What am I doing wrong with this bunny!

I know it’s a bit late, but there’s this problem that seems like Google can’t solve for me and it’s making me angry!
I got this bunny about a month ago, and all he seems to do is run away from me! Everybody else can touch him and pick him up and everything, but one look at me and he just goes hopping off. What am I doing wrong? I’m trying my best, I really am, and I do almost exactly what everyone else does, but it’s apparently not enough or something!
I know you’re not supposed to pick rabbits up, but somehow everyone but me is allowed to.
