Can we appreciate the people still here?

With Shippy’s last question so active still is there any way to commemorate, honor, acknowledge the people still here.

I found it odd how many said they wish they had got contact information before they left or some warning.

I was wondering if any of these people were aware of high regard. Or of the impact they made.

What ideas can we generate for appreciating those special people?

I tried my one idea already. Any one else have something better in mind?
